It was the Boston Store in the 1900s with a landmark clock that was a well-known Erie meeting place for decades. 'Let's meet under the clock' was a catchphrase. And, that catchphrase is being revived.

The New Gastropub Under the Clock is on the first
floor of this historic building. A "sophisticated casual" restaurant that is bringing some fresh thinking onto the Erie dining scene. High, exposed ceilings, red mahogany paneling and furnishings, plus the former Boston Store's marble interior columns extend an eclectic welcome.
